dorming like the first day of high school..

Ahh the dorm move in...i remember it like yesterday and i remember dorm move in with my brothers as well. See, me and my broes all scattered through california schools! I was at CSULB, my twin was at UCI, my older bro was at UCLA, and my little one at BERKLEY. We were sheltered in high school so we wanted to start off with a bang! Dorm move-in can honestly be like the first day of high school. DREADFUL! but there are many steps you can take to make the next 4 years bearable. You can do something like my brother did and bring 8 handles(the biggest bottles of alcohol) and and ounce of weed and throw a big party in your dorm room. That will come with some consequences. Or You can also meet people that are in fraternities and sororities and rage(party) with them. Meeting new people is key to a successful dorm move-in. What I did was quickly move in and get all my shit set up then I went to help other people in my suite. I tried making friends with everyone keeping in mind that everyone was going to bring something different to the table. Then I went over to the girls side in my suite and introduced myself and my friends. Conversation topics arent that important but remind them that they should keep in touch and exchange numbers then. Try to establish a casual relationship, then ask if they drink or smoke. As soon as this first encounter is finished, rely on your confidence to assure your future relationships. Remember the first day of dorm move in can dictate the next four years of life.
